Two questions:
1. Who knew a Strauss polka could seem sexy?
2. Wonder how she got that scar on her left forearm?
As a fan of Yuja Wang and her music making, i have to say that this is not her finest moment. Learning and performing all these thousands of notes – and all for such little musical payoff? Other encore-type pieces that she often plays are much more entertaining and fun. Also, i am a little surprised that she allowed this video to be published, because her playing here is not really up to her usual brilliant standard. All right: everybody is allowed to make a misstep once in a while, so i remain a fan.
