Classical Life
Thank god for Pacific Symphony programs like All Bernstein and the American Composers Festival because this 2015-16 season is the apotheosis of the Usual Suspects (but nice to see the Korngold concerto in there) …
It is indeed “nice to see the Korngold’s Concerto” on the program, but somewhat disappointing to see who is going to be playing it.
Yeah, I can’t imagine that violinist doing a good job with it. But, we shall see …
It is one of those cases when one would be delighted to be wrong. It does happen occasionally. But not often.
