It was quite an unexpected treat, when watching the latest Woody Allen movie Magic in the Moonlight, to hear a relatively extended excerpt from, of all things, the great Rite of Spring, no less, easily elevating an opening scene to some kind of significance, even though the music did not really fit very well with what was going on on the screen.
