Did you partake in Open Mike night w/ Mark Morris? I’m imagining you in a black turtleneck and a beret, demanding snaps instead of applause, and singing your rendition of Erlkonig — or maybe even brought your ‘bone and played “Message to You Rudy,” much to the delight of the crowd.
When I interviewed Morris a couple of weeks ago, I asked him if I could sing DEVO. He said no DEVO (though he likes DEVO), so I refused, on principle, to go.
