Quite an artifact. I’m intrigued to know about the assessment of Stravinsky so long before his “maturity”. And also what Levant thought of his music.

Levant was a famous wit, of course. The inscription is doubly nice because it shows a little bit of that humor. There are a lot of famous Levant witticisms. One of my favorites is the one about Doris Day. “I never knew her before she was a virgin,” he said.
