Never heard this violinist before. He certainly deserves credit for playing all the notes in this very difficult piece quite cleanly. Unfortunately, his slowing down on every triple stop diminish the dramatic impact greatly. This piece needs constant relentless pulse of the accompanying figure in order to be truly effective.
