Looks like someone convinced him this get-up was a good idea. This contrasts nicely with his very spartan studio, designed by Lloyd Wright, and now housed at the Colburn School. It contains what looks like a gold plated accordion.
Craig … is that the Lloyd Wright studio in the photo? I thought it was something earlier.

The photo looks to predate the studio or what little I know of it. It was built in his backyard sometime in the 30’s or 40’s.
Yeah, though the photo is undated, given his age, I think it must be from the teens, or early 20’s.
This is quite a funny picture!
