Kudos to the Pops orchestra and chorus for staying together!
That’s exactly right, chris. And i must say that that quasi-Gergievian hand tremor on the last note was almost priceless. But did he really need a podium?

I know this performance was done for pure amusement and not serious listening, but, still, it’s a shame the volume on the recording is so low!
Ah-ha! I knew it. Anyone can conduct, right? Just wave your arms to the beat and…viola! I guess the prestige afforded conductors is for their rehearsing skills, community outreach, and general good looks.

Seriously though, virtually anyone can conduct but very few can be good conductors.
