    Mitropoulos looks like an ectoplasmic spirit materializing in a seance.

    I enjoy old album covers too, and am glad that (for instance) BMG has kept the originals, more or less, on its SACD remasterings of the RCA Living Stereo records. But this Rubinstein/Mitropoulos cover is borderline kitsch. Didn’t RCA have anyone in its marketing department with a visual sense?
